Double Cut Steak House - Pocono Manor

Delicious meal to start our stay at Kalahari. I am so happy we chose this restaurant. Our bacon appetizer was amazing! Brown sugar and pepper....yes please! The steak came out just as ordered, and the shrimp scampi was a perfect add-on. The baked potatoes were HUGE. The brussel sprouts could have had more seasoning, but they were perfectly cooked. We added a creme bruleé and it is superb! Expect to pay more for a delicious meal. They timed the food to come out and allow for conversation between courses. Gratuity is also added to the bills. If you don't have time or money. This place may not be for you.

Went here while at Kalahari as a secondary choice because the Italian place next store was conveniently closed. The place and atmosphere was very nice and impressive if your looking to play the part. Otherwise I paid $34 for a leg of chicken from a rotisserie bag... The wife only liked the place because she likes to see me suffer. The food was Double price, no sides included. Double cut to the value and wallet! Double slap to the face! Double the people laughing at me too!

My husband took me to this restaurant for my birthday while we were staying in Pennsylvania, and everything was wonderful from the moment we arrived until we left. The food was excellent, and the chef even came to check on us personally. Our waitress, Nicole, was incredibly friendly and even sang "Happy Birthday" to me along with another server. The ambiance was perfect for a romantic evening, especially with our table by the fireplace.

This place has its ups and downs. The prices match the quality of the food, but sides are sold separately. My son ordered the mac and cheese, and it came with far too much cheese for his liking. I had the sea bass, which was quite ordinary. However, the desserts and the fries were excellent. The service and atmosphere, on the other hand, were both fantastic.

This restaurant is a stunning and elegant dining destination. I would classify it as very high-end. I had no problems with the service; the staff was friendly, and the food was served quickly and hot, even though the place was busy. I would definitely love to return; it's truly top-notch. The kids' meal was impressive as well, likely the least I spent on my child throughout the day. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.
