Elfordleigh Brasserie - Plymouth

While staying at the hotel, I had a birthday dinner at the restaurant that was listed on the Government website as part of the eat out to help out scheme. However, when the bill came, there was no eat out to help out discount applied. I questioned this and was informed that the discount only applied if we had ordered a pizza. I pointed out that this was not part of the government scheme and that the restaurant should be honoring it since they are listed on the Government website. Unfortunately, the manager did not provide a positive response and I was left feeling disgusted. I would not recommend this restaurant if you are expecting to benefit from the government's eat out to help out scheme. This experience truly spoiled the birthday dinner, and I am unsure of how to report this fraudulent behavior.

I had an okay meal at this restaurant, but my friend ordered a three-tier sandwich with French fries. She didn't finish all the sandwiches because she found them poorly presented and unappetizing. The sandwich was also overpriced for what it was. We came here for the Eat Out to Help Out promotion, but the only option available was Pinsa's, which was disappointing. They didn't cover all the meals under the promotion. It's better to just go to a good pub instead.

A friend and I received a Christmas voucher for afternoon high tea at the hotel and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was delicious and fresh, particularly the scones which were the best we've ever had - light and full of flavor. Our waitress was very friendly and we also enjoyed the beautiful sunshine during our visit. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Another amazing stay at our favourite hotel” Elfordleigh”. The best room,so spacious and comfortable. Wonderful spa facilities. Friendly, helpful staff. We enjoyed two delicious meals on both evenings in the bar and highly recommend the quality of all our food here,both in the evenings and...at breakfast, which was lovely ,hot and appetiizing. We can’t wait to return! Thank you chef !

We stayed here for New Years Eve dinner and dance evening. Lovely room very large with great views over the golf course. We were seated on a round table with eight other guests fortunately we all got on really well and had a good time....The food was incredible served very quick and hot by lovely young men and women. The disco was great music suited for the age range. At midnight we were given a glass of prosecco and a very large cheese board crackers grapes celery and mince pies. In the morning breakfast was very good everything you needed. All in all a very pleasant evening and we shall be back this year.
