Drakes Plaice Fish And Chips - Plymouth

Sloppy fish and cold dry chips! Ordered 2 x specials, cod chips and mushy peas. The fish was in the heater so no idea how long it had sat there. When we got home (2 minutes drive) the fish batter was sloppy and the batter was dark brown, horrible. In places there was no batter covering the fish. The chips were dry and tepid scraps. I've had fish and chips from Drakes Plaice loads of times and feel totally let down by their quality. Hopefully this is a one off. Next time I'll ask fir the fish to be freshly cooked.

Great fish and chips (haddock) staff very friendly value excellent. First time there will be back soon.

Arrived with packaging dripping with fat everything was saturated. The chips weren't cooked enough and tasteless, the fish was crispy on the top and saturated with fat on the bottom and tasteless. Absolutely disgusting, first and last time I will be ordering from this shop.

Once again i thought id give them another go kebab was about 3 long pices hard to think dry and pita bread hard as rock ,,, cant faulght chips but thats twice donar meat was **** awfull

Ordered a take away tonight for my family it took 90 mins to arrive phone up after an hour to ask where it was they said it had just left 30 mins later it arrived stone cold not the order we had placed phoned up to ask for a refund and was told they couldn’t do it as the owner wasn’t around they could re make our order at this point it was my children’s bed time I was told to call back when the owner was there we have had great food in the past but tonight it’s the worst deliver we have ever order from anywhere in Plymouth not happy what so ever was ment to be a large mixed kebab large chips just look at the state of it the savoly was stone cold cheese chips were small and cold
