Speedwell Coffee - Plymouth

I visited this place for coffee recently. Although most of their business is done through wholesale or online sales, they have a trendy coffee truck in their parking lot and a coffee bar inside. I had a chance to talk with the owner and I bought some of their nitro cold brew canned coffee to take with me. If you enjoy locally roasted coffee, Speedwell is definitely the spot to visit.

Speedwell Coffee is a local gem, comparable to a trendy craft brewery but focused on roasting coffee beans instead of brewing beer. It operates mainly as a commercial business but also has a retail store on site. In nice weather, a charming little trailer outside serves up some of the best lattes we've ever had. Visitors can purchase freshly roasted beans, either ground or whole, to enjoy at home. A great souvenir for tourists wanting to bring a taste of the town with them. The staff is friendly and well-informed, and the coffee is expertly crafted, flavorful, and incredibly smooth. We highly recommend a visit.

I've been buying my coffee here for the past 7 years and I have to honestly say they have spoiled me to the point that I can't even buy coffee in a restaurant any more that doesn't disappoint me... I've become a Speedwell Coffee Snob!!! While they are a little out of the way, a visit to their roasting room is well worth the time and their staff is first rate too!!!

Speedwell coffee is amazing. her coffee is completely comprehensible. I had a cappuccino with milk and my husband had a latte with milk. they were both professionally made, beautiful and tasty.
