Bidra med feedbackThe food is strange. I ordered a hummus and chips plate. The chips were yellow corn round tortillas. The hummus had roasted corn on top. Just an odd mixture. The drinks are okay.
This was possibly the worst brunch buffet I have had in years. Omelettes at the omelette station were undercooked, very limited and low–quality options throughout. Only cheap and very sparse fruit, baked goods were clearly store-bought and not fresh. Lacking any atmosphere whatsoever. We went at 11 o'clock on a Sunday and it was maybe 20% full, mostly from hotel guests.
Very nice ambience, but some of the pre-prepared foods were dry in the steamers (salmon, prime rib like leather, etc. . The fruit was fresh, omlettes were fine, salads and desserts were also good. OJ was Tang-like but coffee and tea was good. Slightly over-priced for the quality.
So this review is a true mix. I am staying at the hotel attached to the Creekside Cafe. So for breakfast Monday and Thursday the morning waitress staff seems to make the littlest effects for greeting customers. Granted it is buffet style breakfast. Monday and Tuesday, no descriptions on the hot food, had to get my own coffee and water. The biggest thing is that they don't open the front entrance. Even though the signs are posted to enter in one location. Confusing at best, Wednesday through Sunday it's like a completely different vibe. Greeted by a very nice staff that opens on time, food is labeled, coffee and water is on the table and the front entrance is open. The food is really good, and OYG you need to come for Sunday Brunch. So I have decided to come for dinner. Got off work late and didn't want to go out. Well my dinner options were not much. Granted I did show up at 9:30, the bartender didn't see/recognize me until 9:50 and said that the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes. My dinner options were chocolate cake or cheese cake. Asked for an Irish coffee. No coffee so the option given was an Expresso martini to go with the chocolate cake. No water given (asked for) plastic fork and no napkins. I had to get my own. Been coming here for over 10 years. Before 2021 the bar area rocked.
We took my sons family to the Creekside Cafe for a Fathers Day Brunch. The food offerings were varied and were of appropriate value for the amounts paid. All offerings were well presented and we Most importantly were delicious. Our group had three children under 5 and the servers were attentive and made us feel we were at grandmas house. Lastly, the environment was very comfortable with a low noise level. Overall, this was a nice place for that weekend brunch whether you are a couple or a large family group.
