Sadly the waitress admitted after a 30 minute wait she had forgotten to place our order for the Sunday Roast Beef. She was so embarrassed and dealt with it with professional care, even offering us free drinks. To be fair the chef also dealt with it immediately so we only waited a further 5 mins in a very busy restaurant. Unfortunately the beef was so tough and fatty, neither of us could even cut through it. Thankfully all the vegetables were superb and somewhat made up for it. The landlord very kindly sent a message to apologise and there would be no charge. We both thought they handled the situation very professionally.

Friendly service, good choice of food to suit everyone including gluten free. Good sized portions especially with the desserts chosen.
