Bidra med feedbackLunch one Saturday. simple and warm welcome. meal at 23 euros flat entrance dessert plus wine. well-presented flats quite copyy. We feel the cook likes his job. Well done service. nice scenery. a main room often well filled a room on the floor for 20 people plus two others of 12 and 70 people. Nice place. I was looking for a nice place for our wedding: I found and booked!
More than 50 years ago I know this restaurant (this must be the 3rd generation), the scenery is now more refined, wall painting and hunting scenes. The shares are generous and the prices would leap with joy all of Paris. very good menu at 29 euros with a sublime house paté cornichons jam of onions house. a beef fillet 300 grs rarely eats meat of such quality; good desserts but not awesome...Service sometimes a little long. I advise you after taking the paimpont road to visit its wonderful abbey and walk around the lake. may be there you will meet the vivid fairy and enchanting Merlin.
We have dinner in this restaurant following the hotelier's advice at which we were. There is a choice in the menus, from 20 to 35€. We chose to eat game why we had come and were not disappointed (boeher and caille foie gras sauce) with a bottle of red wine (about 25€, excellent) we have very well dinner and heartily. We recommend you!
Very good restaurant,We dine there on October 25, 2014. The restaurant is charming, the decoration is medieval type with references to hunting (a huge boar head hanging on the wall of the large hall!). the reception is friendly and discreet. Be careful, there are many people, it is better to come early or book and not be too pressed once you have to be ready, there may be waiting between the dishes. As far as we're concerned, half an hour waiting between cheese and dessert but it didn't bother us any further measure...We took a menu at 30 euros with mouth, entry, dish and dessert. However, there are menus at 23 euros (flat dessert entrance) and 20.50 euros ( dessert plate or flat entrance).Mise on the palate, velvety pumpkin !land and sea entrance consisting of smoked salmon house and smoky herbs, home foie gras and fig jam, a slice of duck magret. excellent and portions are copyy. Even my fiancé who doesn't like the foie gras has eaten his plate. The plate was well presented, the refined taste. For the dish, we ordered a roasted pigeon with wood fire and a terracotta with wood fire as well. portions are copied again and so much better as once again it was excellent, served with seasonal vegetables and melted potatoes. The pigeon sauce was particularly tasty and the perfect cooking. We were tempted by cheese ( 2 euros per person) and we did well. We ordered a leaf in the bitterspot and its reduction in red wine (well raised sauce, homemade leafy) and the tomme with salad and black cherry jam. We enjoyed it. On dessert we ordered the speciality of the house, an apple cooked in a leafy (season) accompanied by caramel with salty butter (very good). My fiancé who has the sweetest beak I enjoyed. In short, a very good time, special mention for the entry and the delicious dish. it is possible to buy terrines, smoked salmon home etc to take and last the pleasure.
