Bidra med feedbackThe food here is extremely good. If I lived here, this is where I'd go for lunch the most. Cosado, quesadillas, ceviche all were good. Really inexpensive and really fresh. Cash only. Definitely helps to know some Spanish, but menus are in both English and Spanish.
Great little Soda. Staff were very friendly, food was awesome. Highly recommend.
Another place we tried with traditional food and another disappointment. Vegetarian chalupas were served with barely cooked potatoes, paprika and zucchini. They were tasteless. Side veggies were dry. I have no idea what the orange was for but it didn’t make the dish taste better. Fish fillet was just dry fish fillet. Chicken cassado is just tiny bits of chicken floating in red sauce of unknown origin. Tablets were dirty. Some leftovers from previous guests were present. The only good thing was fresh pineapple juice but it’s really hard to ruin one. And yes it’s quite cheap comparatively to other local restaurants.
Tiny soda at the end of the beach. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. We got the chicken in salsa.
Great little place. Very good food and service. Very affordable and good portions for the price. I would recommend and we will be back. I would suggest taking some of the negative reviews with a grain of salt. This is a soda serving comida típica not a 5 star restaurant. You don 't go to a hotdog cart and then complain about the lack of choices of vegetarian options. Manage your expectations and enjoy it for what it, don 't complain about what it is not.
