Gone are the taco stands, chickens, and dirt roads--all the roads have been paved! Good luck finding a taco stand! Craving this culinary delight, I asked the hotel concierge where one could satiate their desires! He recommended, Taqueria Gomez... The meats are basted then grilled, chopped, served with cilantro and onions... if you're hankering for old time Playa del Carmen, Taqueria Gomez is the place to go...
