SOHO PLAYA Hotel - Playa del Carmen

Fantastic hotel. have here several times about the years (additionally to many others in the opposite) a apartment is built over the street, but they work respectable daytime. carlos is one of the front switch types fantastic. always accommodating. calmed me...with parking on the property with short notice. this hotel does not sweat the small things. they stay here, they won't regret it.

Only one night spent, but will use the next time in playa. Modem room, very clean and well soundproof, which is important to a half block away avenue 5. beautiful small dachbar, but unfortunately we returned too late to enjoy it. the staff is very...friendly, helpful and very good English. a good breakfast. beautifully ordered; art everywhere. it is approx. 20 minutes to walk from the bus stop and ferry, so consider a taxi when midday when tow baggage. when they drive, easy and they have parking.

Dined: Saturday 9th september 2017: we were on the road in soho hotel and were given good luck to breakfast the next morning. I'm not much an breakfast person, so I was a little skeptical when we left. the offer was good until...12:00 clock, so we went as late as possible to hopefully see an extended brunch or lunch menu. the voucher was good for one of the choices of about seven articles. I think some were traditional breakfast like eggs and pancakes, but they also offered light Mexican brunch items, which all four of us had. among us we had the green chicken enchilada, red chicken enchilada, bark chiliquiles and a unique sandwich on a baguette, with lubricated beans, sausage, chorizo and ham. my was the green enchilada, and it was simple and tasty and a decent part. had a bite on the brunch sandwich and that was also quite good. coffee and juices were served and enjoyed by all. also the chiliquiles looked good! all four of us were very satisfied with our meal times! we were greeted by a young lady, and she was supported by two young men. service was very friendly and attentive, without being overlaid. eating was great! coffee made the trick! and friendly staff. stay here for late breakfast, we should find ourselves in future in playa del carmen!

This venue is excellent with regard to the quality of the food and the service delivery. It is our 1 spot for breakfast and lunch. Clean, comfortable and entirely modern. Great for children and grandchildren. We love it.

Can't complain. Breakfasts were included and we had minimal choices but the food was good, fresh, fast. A nice way to start our day before heading out. VERY friendly staff.
