Cold hard steak served on cold plates and not much with it. there was back, it didn't improve. very small portions for children.

This was my man and my first break since the original lockdown March '20 and apart from weather not the best all else was spot on! we were greeted by fiona who had taken our booking and john (the owner,) we also ran. in bridie who takes care of the rooms. I must say it was as welcome at our second home, everyone seemed really excited to see us. the room had a beautiful balcony and was absolutely immaculate, I know from previous experiences that nothing comes past bridies and their homemade skills would frighten any dirt or germ and therefore we felt confident to use the hotel on our first trip away because we know their high standards. it was an absolute joy to sit in the beautiful bar and have a drink and a meal, we had fresh cod and chips that were so good we were the next day too. it was really nice to chat with the employees who looked after us so well, rian made fabulous cocktails from their new cocktail list that also contained funny child recipes. we had sunny spells and even if the weather was great, we still enjoyed the coastal hikes and a trip to the city galway, which is only 20/30 car minutes and saltberg is less. there is so much to do and see and the hotel is in a perfect location for most places, including the aran Islands. I can't say much more, but thank you to john and all his employees for a perfect stay and we'll be back.

The hotel in the restaurant bar . always excellent service and good eating . staff very helpful and pleasant. great view of the sea. they would recommend

Stopped here for dinner last night, as it was the main location for food In the village. I am sorry to say we were very disappointed. Staff, although very pleasant, lacked leadership and organisation we had to wait 1 hour for food to be...served and when it did arrive it was edible but of poor quality. We did not enjoy our experience here. A real shame because it has prime location near the harbour, with great views over the bay, but we would not recommend.

Only for one night here. has wished more time to stay longer. room clean and tidy. the staff is great. eat nice and top it from a beautiful small village with great walks along the sea before the pier. very peaceful.
