Golden Palace - Plattsburgh

It's a Chinese buffet and the food is what you would expect. The atmosphere and scenery is very good, it's a very Chinese look with a touch of Adirondack. The service is good and the building is very clean. I have noticed the floors tend to be pretty slick most of the time around the booths, and the restroom sinks could have been built better. The food quality is top notch. I've been to a lot of buffets and I've found that the food here in the top 10. The cost to eat here is also very reasonable. If you like Chinese food and looking for a good cheap place to eat I would recommend stopping in and giving this place a shot.

Amazing food, extremely clean, and great service. We went at 2 pm expecting that the food would be not so fresh, but when you're hungry you gotta eat. The food was as fresh as it gets. The sushi was delicious. And everything was perfectly cooked :

Excellent food and service ,I go there often never leave disappointed. Every time I have went ,the food was always hot and fresh.The hibachi is always open , no one there ,they have a BELL you ring and they come right away. The price is very low for the good quality food and service. Most of the fast food places are more expensive than the Golden Palace buffet .I use to be a cook many years back .I won 3 gold medals back then , this buffet is very good.Not once did I get dried out old food in their buffet table ,and not one time did I find anything in my food that wasn 't food.The restaurant is very clean..I tell the owners when I leave how the food and service was.I 'm not shy to tell a restaurant if there was something wrong with the food or service .A restaurant needs to know what customers think and feel .So far all is good .For a Chinese buffet,they get a 5 star from me..

Great food for the whole family. There is a wide selection of dishes to choose from their 7 double sided buffet counters. For those who are trying to watch their weight the hibachi grill is the way to go.

Most Chinese buffets have food that all tastes the same.the golden palace isn't like that at all.stuffed mushrooms and shrimp were fantastic,all the foods had there own unique flavours.our server was smiling and laughing the whole time we were there,like she actually liked her job or something. I would and will recommend this place to all my friends and family...
