Capri Sogno - Plainfield

Great Italian food! Only thing I didn't realize or like was having to go up a long flight of stairs. We were there during the week so upstairs bar wasn't open, server had to keep running up and down stairs. Also, they don't have decaf coffee! Water and canoli just not good. In the future I will ask for a 1st floor table and not get dessert. In closing, our friend enjoyed his birthday dinner as most was very nice, food was good. I love this restaurant. We have been coming for years and actually got engaged after a night of delicious food there. We came back with my calamari obsessed son last night for his 5th birthday and he was in heaven. Every food item we have tried is excellent and the limoncello cake they had is also just perfect. Went back to Capri tonight after a long hiatus, and I am glad we went back. The food is great, cocktails are just right, and the ambiance is perfect for a date night. Make sure to make a reservation so you don't have to wait.
