Spanky's Pizza - Placerville

My coworkers and I wanted pizza for lunch. As we were deciding where to go, I asked if anyone has been to Spanky's? We decided to check it out. As we walked in, we walked in on the bar side, and I thought to myself hmmmm, this will be interesting...or do we turn around and leave??? We stayed, and I'm so glad we did!! The BEST pizza ever!!!! Holy moly I can't wait to have leftovers!! Moral of the story, don't let the outside (even the inside) fool you....the pizza was delicious!!!

I am writing my first review and I must say, the cook and the woman at the register were incredibly friendly, helpful, and generous! It was a wonderful experience! The pizza was delicious, with plenty of pepperoni and a thin crust just the way I like it! I highly recommend checking them out!

The man who took my order over the phone was very kind, he was also very helpful. We got a large meat pizza, wings and the salad... I will say that the chef salad was okay but not worth almost $15. The pizza was good, the crust being the best part. I'm confused about the pastrami lunch meat that was on the pizza, other than that it was good. If I ever order from this place again I will make sure to ask for a little extra sauce and no pastrami.

Pizza is great, the owners are great, prices are very reasonable compared to most pizza restaurants. This type of joint keeps towns alive, so we will always patronize them over a chain restaurant.

Yikes, this place is a blast from the past! No money has been spent on the upkeep of this place in a long time. Lots of regulars post up here tho! Cash preferred.
