Bidra med feedbackClosing permanently on July 4th.Great moto bike destination ride through some twisties. Big breakfast and lunch portions.Although the garlic fries are amazing hand sliced potatoes......the garlic fumes in your helmet are awful!Excellent outdoor, lakeside seating.Wheelchair accessibility: Gravel parking lot with dirt/grass ramp access to outside seating.
We found this place on a whim and will be back regularly. Frank and his team were wonderful, friendly and gave exceptional service. We sat at a lake facing table and the view was amazing. We even got a show from the local bald eagles, that have a nest close to the diner. After the breakfast rush was over Frank took the time to introduce himself and chat with us a little giving us a history lesson about the area and community.
We went there for Sunday brunch and it was the best brunch experience I have ever have! The mouth watering food, the beautiful and peaceful lake view, the lovely birds (bald eagle flying over the lake), the gentle butterfly breeze, and to top it off, the owner/chef Frank and Heidi and their helper are super friendly. Unfortunately, the diner will be closed in July. I heard they're going to have July 4 BBQ party. Don't miss that! And you still have some weekends to experience their amazing food, view and services!
What a hidden gem! 3 of us stopped for a quick snack before heading down mountain for dinner and ordered the Loaded Fries. They were the best ever loaded with bacon pieces (that were tender and yummy), sautéed to perfection mushrooms, homemade fries, the most amazing creamy garlic sauce, cheese and green onions. The loaded ingredients were not just set on top of fries but layered throughout the huge serving sauce on bottom, then fries, then loaded ingredients and all continued to top layer. Unfortunately we were so in awe we just dug right in and forgot to take a picture. Service was great and outdoor tables overlooked the lake. 5 star all the way around!
Good stop on the bike Sad they are closing in July as we just found it.Hope they find a way for locals to support them and not just campers
