Daddyo's Diner - Pittsfield

Daddyos diner is an authentic retreat experience. the waitress was a little rough around the edges, initially not allowed me to replace corn beef hat for the speck that came with my meal. in the run of the meal she warmed up on us and was very funny and friendly at the end, chalk it up to a busy day. the food was good, the horn skinash was amazing. if I'm back in the opposite, I'd definitely stay for a bite!

Place was busy when i went with my mother and my uncle who came from out of state to visit. The service was really good, never had to ask for a refill and my server was excellent. Most of the food was good, but my waffle was crispy like it was over cooked. It was pretty bland, not sure if that's typical or just a one time thing where it was cooked too long or something. Other than that the place was decent, servers were great. Only reason i didn't give 5 stars was because of the waffle.

Coffee was good. The service was fast. The water was terrible. The food was excellent! Had breakfast. The bacon was thick and crispy just the way bacon should be! The eggs were light and fluffy. Many varieties of toast available. Very satisfying breakfast. Quick Service and quick with the coffee refills. All of that is very important early in the morning! I would come here again.

This place is awesome! Just visiting the area and stopped in here, was not disappointed. I got the southern biscuits and gravy with a side of four eggs. Tasted great reminded me of Texas. The gal got waffles and a side of homefries. She seemed to like them alot. The people where friendly and very quick service. The only thing that I'm sure is known is the place needs a bit of renovation and cleaning. Overall the place was awesome though and who really cares what it looks like if the food is awesome.

I used to always love to go here . Food is very good and fast. I love the omelet with spinach and hint of garlic . Home fries are also yummy prices are good . I have tried to get here a few other times but they are closed two days and close pretty early on the others . This last visit as we were entering a couple was coming out complaining about how rude their waitress was. I used to always get good service but I could see why she wasn't happy . It was busy but not as busy as other times when i used to go we stood there for awhile before anyone payed attention to us . After we were done our waitress stood at another table socializing why we waited awhile for our check. She finally dropped it off took off again. Than we wait she comes back to state they don't take credit cards anymore . What the heck talk about going backwards in time. My brother in law works a farmers market on Saturdays even he takes credit cards . They did have signs on the door but all I read was atm and since I was looking to eat not do my banking I didn't pay attention.
