My wife and I were nearby, we did a Google search, one of the results was Yelp top 10 restaurants near McNight rd. The menu looked good, prices were reasonable pulled in the parking lot and we're like huh it's just looks like a little bar. but went in and WOW. We were immediately greeted very politely by the hostess, seated quickly. Our server whose name was Lindsey was absolutely amazing, she knew the menu she knew how to treat customers, she followed up repeatedly and really served us a fantastic meal definitely rate this place 10/10 for restaurant, food and staff the ribs were legendary by the way, as were the spicy cheese curds. Wheelfish is a casual BBQ restaurant that is inside a distressed wooden building. Their menu lists appetizers such as pulled pork nachos and quesadillas; entrees such as sandwiches, meats, and tacos; some sides such as corn muffins and sweet potatofries; some desserts; and some beers. Prices are moderate. My husband and I greatly enjoyed our chicken, ribs, kielbasa, pulledpork taco, brisket taco, grilled vegetables, macaroni and cheese, and French fries. The fried deviled eggs were OK to good. Asfor service, the waitress was very timely with seating us, taking our order, bringing out our food, and giving us the check. Shehad a very courteous personality. We appreciate that she suggested a sweet sauce for us and brought out a drink refill.
