Subway - Pittsburgh

The employees treat you like you’re bothering them and they can’t wait to get rid of you. The sandwich was cold and they barely put any veggies in even after asking for extra. The employees had a conversation with each other while I was waiting to tell them what veggies I wanted.Beware that this isn’t my first time and I haven’t yet encountered a good employee there!

Subway food is subway food. Sandwiches are good, fresh, have some veggies. Prices are meh. Had a really weird experience here where the employee insisted I tell him if I wanted lettuce before any of my other toppings? I usually ask for the fluffy toppings last so the other stuff stays on under them. Not that it's a huge deal, but it's a little bit of strategy on my part, and it's never been an issue before because they usually just throw on the toppings in the order you tell them. But I asked for tomato and this guy asked if I wanted lettuce, and I said that I had asked for tomato, and he was very weirdly insistent on the lettuce and explained after I repeated tomato a few more times that the lettuce had to be first. I was not aware. I have been to many Subways many times, and the lettuce has gone on second, third, fourth... heck, it's even gone on fifth. And everything was fine. Maybe the guy was new, maybe they train them to do lettuce first. I don't know. It was just a weird, unnecessarily tense encounter for picking up dinner. All of the toppings made it on the sub, but I left sort of annoyed by the attitude.

And I'm really like it they didn't accept coupons except for some paper and the sandwich was okay it wasn't great

Ordered a new steak and cheese melt . The picture on the menu board CLEARLY shows that it was supposed to be a pressed sandwich. They apparently do not want to go through the extra step of pressing it, and only use the oven to heat it up. When I asked about having it pressed, I was told that every subway operates independently, and this is how they do their melts here. Would not recommend. Also worth noting: does not participate in any coupons or discounts. Staff was beyond rude. Tables were NOT wiped down between guests, and the floor in the dining area was littered with cucumbers and olives.

Been there 7 times my stake has been cold twice today it was ice cold couldn’t even eat it I’m at work now with no food and they got the phone off the hook I can’t even call them
