Girasole - Pittsburgh

Absolutely unacceptable. Sitting in 80 degree basement for 2 hours and still didn’t get food ended up taking it in the box since it is uncomfortable to sit in that hot atmosphere. If you cannot serve the people that seated YOU SHOULD NOT SIT THAT MANY PEOPLE AT THE TABLE!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, Italian food is so-so. Of course, it may be a little greasy or sweet. We have a lot left. I recommend this restaurant to couples on honeymoon because it has a nice atmosphere. It's very noisy My grandfather is like the boss.

Food and drinks were delicious. This was my first time dining here and I had no issues. They were busy but got us in promptly. Everyone was friendly and service was quick. I even forgot my umbrella and they put it aside for me so I could grab it when I got back. They also had live music which added to the atmosphere. My girlfriend, who's been to Italy, said it reminded her of the restaurants there. Only minor complaint would be that it's a little warm if you are seated near the kitchen.

Great food and service! It has a very authentic and family feel. If you're sensitive to noise, it can be loud.

Started with mussels and burratta, mains were squid ink linguini , spinach and ricotta ravio(sauce is still remaining, the ravioli was too delicious to wait for photo)l, and linguini rustic. It's been a week and I'm still day dreaming about the sauce on the squid ink linguini.
