Bidra med feedbackMy husband and I stayed here while visiting family. The hotel is located in a very busy location but near shopping and restaurants. However, there is no parking available at the hotel so if you rent a car you have to get the valet parking. It's worth it because you can go in and out at your leisure without having to pay each time you leave as you would with the parking garages. We loved our very spacious and clean room with the exception of our last night. The air conditioning quit working but thankfully it wasn't very hot so we were fine. They also offer a hot buffet breakfast daily as well as a reception from 5:30-7:00 every evening with light appetizers and 2 drinks per guest each. I would definitely stay here again and recommend especially if you're in town for a Steelers game. It's a quick Uber ride to the stadium.
In town for our sons wedding. Loved our stay here! Have to get used to going up for lobby and breakfast. Loved our room that had great views over looking the PNC stadium and the bridge.Even had a window in our bathroom. Beds and pillows comfy. Lots of space for everything. Rooms were quiet. The Valet people were always very friendly and helpful. Felt safe for sure. Thought the breakfast was fabulous with all the choices that were delicious. But thought that at times needed more help to keep supplies of silverware and bowls up to all that were eating. A few issues with our room. minor. Our bathroom door had terrible squeak that you think would have been fixed easily. Also we didn't have a full roll of TP when checked in and no spare. So I happen to see housekeeping cart and took one off of cart. And our frig in our room was too small. We had another room rented and they had a rather large frig. Thought they should be the same. Same price paid. Staff at desk were very friendly and helpful. Thought the place was very clean. Parked our car across the street to save some money. Worked very well.
Excellent location. Clean rooms. Great service. Great views if you get an outer room).Would I stay here again? Definitely.I enjoyed my stay here and the staff was very friendly.Rooms: Room was excellent. A few dents and scratches here and there but overall it was well kept and the bed was comfortable. I can’t say that about most Hilton brand hotels.Nearby activities: Mt. Washington If you walk south on Smithfield across the bridge ~15 min slow walk), you can reach the Mt. Washington slope rail which takes you up the mountain. There you will find incredible views day or night) with restaurants and shops. You can so walk north on Smithfield to area near the convention center ~5 min walk) and there’s restaurants and bars.Safety: Felt safe most of the time. However, I come from a big city so if you’re afraid of homeless people and drug addicts, I would stay away from here.Walkability: The location is very walkable. The convention center is only a few blocks away ~5 minute walk). There’s a Target on the corner of the next block and a 7 Eleven that’s open 24/7 two blocks away. There’s also a nice park in front and the Omni is across the park. You can walk down Smithfield to the River ~10 minute walk). I enjoyed my jog there. If you continue walking across the bridge, you can reach the Mt. Washington slope rail which takes you up the mountain.
I was very impressed with the hotel. From the valet service, rooms clean, bed comfortable and most impressed with the complimentary breakfast. Wasn't expecting all the options for being free. Great location to just walk to local bars and restaurants. Definitely would come back.Rooms: 5/5
The location is the best part of this hotel. The facilities were fine, but the place was truly filthy. Management didn’t care. Others peoples Kleenex plastered on the sheets, pills strewn about. I wish I was exaggerating.Safety: I didn’t feel safe here.
