Blue Sky - Pittsburgh

We had an excellent culinary experience in the blue sky restaurant. eating was great, with a modern casual ambiente. really great background music too! we could meet the owner

This was my second time at this restaurant and the food drinks were just as good as the first time. The owner actually seated me as I waited for my girlfriends. He was very kind helpful (suggesting outdoor seating that wouldn’t be too windy). Our waitress was nice, but took forever to do everything (the restaurant was not packed). I thought that this would no longer be an issue considering they had been open for a couple months now (I initially went in August for my girlfriend’s birthday), but I was wrong. I would possibly return, but you can’t ever be in a rush going here.

We enjoyed our dinner and thought it was a decent value for the money. But it was obvious they were understaffed so service was very slow. Also incredibly noisy. Why can’t restaurants understand that diners want to have conversations with their meals?

Buffalo chicken dip and ravioli were delicious. Owner very friendly and accomodating

I come back for the summer veggie salad all of the time. I recommend Blue Sky and have been there a number of times always a good experience. I was surprised this time that the server did not bring out my friend's salad before their entree. They had a sandwich, fries, and a salad all in front of them at the same time.
