I got this stromboli, and I could not have been happier! Priced properly and I'm still eating it the day after

The staff we had when we went were amazing. Not just our server, though she was a real treat, but all of them. The interactions between each other and the customers. It was a nice vibe, an easy setting to relax to. I didn't catch our server's name, but she was an older woman with blondeish hair and just fantastic. A real hoot. If we're ever back in Pittsburg, we'd totally drop by again just for the vibe of the place. The food we had was pretty good too! Fairly big portions for our orders, cooked nicely and pretty okay fries, but nothing a little salt and ketchup can't fix. A great way to end a long day for us.

I saw this restaurant on Diners Drive Ins Dives several years ago. They close at 7 pm so I was never close enough to their area to make it in time. We had a sales call nearby in West Homestead, so we went their for lunch. The food is excellent the portions are huge. Prices are reasonable. I ordered the cornbeef Reubin, and it was huge! I took half of it home. My wife ordered the salmon salad and had to take half of it home. I had her order a cup of wedding soup because that was what Guy everyone raved about on the show. It was very good! Our waitress Sam was excellent. The only negative was an older lady who was a regular sat down in the corner table behind us and started making phone calls to her insurance agent, doctors office, and others. It was so disturbing, it was all I good do, not to go over and rip the phone out of her hands and throw it out the door! Restaurant owners, staff, please don't allow these telephone conversations in the dining room. I down rated the atmosphere rating because of this woman

Big, tasty sandwiches for good prices. Interior atmosphere is great, too!

I had pretty high hopes for this place. We were seated right away, beers were cold, appetizer was quick and good, we got the cheese sticks. I ordered the meatball parm with meat sauce and the Mrs ordered the zucchini parm with meat sauce. We did not get meat sauce and there really wasn't much flavor to the sauce we got. The portions are huge so we brought enough for 2 more meals home but just threw it away. After dinner we were getting boxes and I told the server we were going to have a few drinks and he brought me a beer and the check. There were plenty of empty tables so not sure why we were rushed out but oh well.
