China Inn - Pittsboro

I have been getting the Broccoli in Garlic Sauce for years...it is top notch and fresh everytime I pick it up...I absolutely adore the family that owns it...they are so nice and polite...I am so glad our little town has this place..

I stopped in yesterday for the first time in several years. I was going to get a lunch special. Thankfully I looked at a menu first because the prices are crazy expensive! I usually buy my Chinese food in Siler City or Apex and the lunch specials there are at least $1.50 less expensive. Ended up a few doors down at Subway.

Typical hole-in-the-wall (maybe I should say hole-in-the plexiglas barrier at the counter) Chinese takeout. Not a place to dine in. I stopped here and got the kung pao chicken lunch special and ate it in my car. This was some of the best kung pao I’ve had in years! Will definitely stop here again when in the neighborhood at lunch time. Good stuff. Parking: In a shopping center next to Food Lion. Lots of parking.

Ate here years ago and there were literally maggets in the fried rice. Haven't been back sence and will not be.

Not the worst but not very good.Bland food with no real flavor.
