The Auld Smiddy Inn - Pitlochry

I didn't enjoy my meal as much as I did in past years. The service was good and the food arrived promptly (perhaps a little too soon as the burger was a little underdone). I think there could be a wider variety of beers/ales available on tap. The two tables to the back of the restaurant aren't great at all and probably shouldn't be there in my opinion (I asked to be moved which wasn't a problem thankfully). You could do worse, but you may find yourself wondering if there was somewhere better you could have gone whilst in town.

Quiet Friday afternoon drink sitting outside watching world go by. Looks like typical old pub from outside but more geared to trendy restaurant food and judging by number of reservations it seems a popular choice. There are queues to get into other pubs in Pitlochry but this was almost empty.

Great place for curries. Seams the chef is an expert in these. Lots of choice very busy so booking essential
