Bidra med feedbackTiming is everything. We went from Pismo Pier and went at 3:00 on Saturday and the line wasn't so long. There was a little waiting, but nothing like I read or heard. Don't let the line stop you from eating a cinnamon roll. I ordered the almond with frost on the side. It seemed simply overwhelmingly sweet and to fill when you have the freezing right up. It definitely hits the point and filled my sweet tooth. Be warm and only every bite was heaven. It is also a pretty good size dessert, so you can be super ambitious and eat the whole thing or just share it. 5 stars for the cinnamon roll itself. The store itself was not too inviting. There are small shields at the door that you instructed to wait to be called. We didn't see the shield, and the cashier wasn't too friendly to let us know. The menu has not been posted anywhere near the line, so likely would have been more efficient if this was posted while you decide in line vs what you want when you are at the checkout. There are no inside seats and only a few seats outside. 3 stars for the actual facility and experience.
Stopd on a Saturday night about 15 minutes before closing and the line was long and out of the door! Fortunately, we ordered by phone beforehand (online order was closed) and we were able to skip the line. We have an original and frost (cream cheese frosting). Both tasted great, but I liked the frosted version better. The seasonal cinnamon roll was frosted with cherries, but they were from this taste. They let us buy the cherry for $1 and it was totally worth it. Definitely stop from Old West Cinnamon Rolls when you are in the area. They won't be disappointed.
Must have cinnamon rolls. Places smell like heaven when you enter. They have a variety of roles. They sell so fast. Go home. I don't like freezing, and these places have no frost and still taste amazing.
What else to say. 5 stars is absolutely the right review for this authentic and loving cinnamon roller joint. This place is special, just like her cinnamon rolls. We stumbled on this place during our 6 o'clock at Pismo Beach and the natural smell of fresh cinnamon rolls enticed us. I love the fact that they create their own roles looks like a pound of cake or a ciabatta, but you definitely have the roles. Then generous amounts of everything you can think. If this is your first time here, I highly recommend going with the Basic with Icing on the SIDE. Just enjoy the soft cinnamon, sweet rolled into a palm sky. Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful. Will return when we're in the area. Heck, we're going to Pismo Beach, just for those cinnamon rolls. Make sure you go early in the morning!
What can i say about this place in pismo beach except that it is great. This place has been around for years and if you ever had one of these cinnamon buns then you know and understand why. If you don't i suggest that you get there and have a few. What better way to enjoy a cinnamon bun than at the beach on the pier or on the beach enjoy the sound of the waves crashing against the shore line or breathing in some fresh clean air or even enjoying a beautiful sunrise or sunset. I'm just saying. Love this place. Here is what i had. Enjoy.
