Lonestar - Pisgah Forest

So we had dinner here on Friday (11/03/17) AND Saturday (11/04/17) night. The steaks are AWESOME, cooked just right, tender, didn 't have to saw through them, TONS of flavor (no A 1 needed which says a lot for me), good prices and GREAT SERVICE!! We got seated in less than 10 minutes on a Friday night. The food was cooked right, hot, timely and the cinnamon honey butter for the rolls WOW!! Fabulous!! Our waitress, Sondra, remembered us Saturday from Friday night, we even asked for her Saturday, she remembered what we had ordered Friday, including what we drank, to the dressing on the salads, the food we ordered even how it was cooked. There was an issue with one of the steaks Saturday night, taken off the bill, problem solved. No arguing, no excuses removed. That was the kitchens error, not the waitress or the manager. Wish we had one in Murfreesboro TN or closer to home.

I don't understand all the negativity this place is receiving. I think that other people are just piggy-backing off the other reviews they read and not giving their honest opinion. I certainly didn't see anything wrong with Lonestar. We were seated quickly and with a smile, and our food and drinks came to us lightning-fast! It's very clean inside, I can't imagine what that other reviewer was talking about when they said it was dirty... The grilled chicken that came with my Caesar salad was cooked and seasoned very well. I wish more people would come into a business with an open mind and a clean slate and base their opinions on their own experiences rather than the negative reviews they read previously. There is nothing wrong with this place. I enjoyed my dinner here.

LOVE THIS PLACE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I honestly don't understand why there getting bad reviews, These ppl know how to cook a steak ! Great staff , real cute Waters's , friendly Was professional and was on the ball on everything. It says as worth the and a good tip . It's NICE refreshing to write a good review.

IGNORE all reviews written before August 2017, the franchise holder was different than its' current one. The restaurant has been spiffed up, staff is well trained, and food was very good. Steaks were tender and cooked as ordered, potato was hot and cooked through, salad was crisp and fresh. Nice dinner rolls with honey butter were served promptly, beverages were kept refilled. Yes, it is a chain, and you aren't going to find hand squeezed juices for your old fashioned or some frou frou dessert.... but what they do, they do well, and at a decent price. Which is why so many people eat a chain restaurant to begin with.

Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Sat down by a window in the bar area and was bombarded by a row of ants crawling on the table. We moved to the bar and server asked why. After explaining why the manager said the meal would be on the house. When food came out it was cold, a leather fillet, cold sides and a horrible salad. This was for all 4 of us. This dying restaurant needs to close its doors
