Bidra med feedbackQuinoa suppe was delicious. So that was a big one. our driver had the meat. it looked good. the restaurant is away from the beaten. requires a driver or a walk. my driver told me that the restaurant was earlier in the city, but with the extension it was moved to the edge of the city. some tables are located in the garden, preferably on a beautiful day.
We had the papas rellenas to start. They were great. We also enjoyed two different trout dishes, one fried and one grilled both served over a bed of potatoes. Everything was delicious! Make sure you allow some time to sit and enjoy the courtyard...area. They offer a copy of the full menu in English.
As part of a tour we stopped for lunch at this very out of the way spot in Pisac. Amazing Quinoa Soup and fantastic fresh grilled trout - the children were playing in the yard, the dog was wandering around - all in a day in the life in Peru
I had the tremendous fortune of living next door to Dona Clorinda's for 2 years and I never got sick of the food. I ate there at least 2 times a week. The place is run by Dona Clorinda and her daughter Mati, meticulous hosts who ensure excellent food and hospitality. Discover Cusquenan cuisine and enjoy feeling like you're at home. They expertly serve individual guests and large tour groups. It could not be better! The restaurant is 1 km outside of Pisac town center, near the river. I recommend the ceviche and the lomo saltado is the best I have had in Peru.
Our tour guide took us here for lunch. This was our first meal in Peru, and probably our most memorable. We ate outdoors, portions were so huge we could not finish what we ordered. Service was warm, Mattie was so friendly. Quinoa soup was probably the best I had in Peru. My son says hello to Ramona the cat. We would not have regretted staying here for the rest of the day, or the day after.
