Bidra med feedbackI love the sea panorama and the gorgeous food as a base of fresh fish match with a crunchy pizza. I love it....
Last week we had lunch at La Scogliera Hotel that has recently reopened. To say we had the best meal ever,would be an understatement. The restaurant had just been redone and it was stransformed...so bright and light and cheerful... and eating outside on the veranda facing the Eolean Islands was just fantastic. We started with an apetiser each: mine was Assagi d 'Amare the cold plate of superbly fresh sea food and my husband had the hot version. Next time we 'll swop) they were both excellent. Then we had 2 different freshly made pasta dishes. The New Chef is a wizzard with his freshly made pasta every day. We then went on to our second dishes :Grilled, freshly caught Red King Prawns from Mazzara and Grilled Tuna steaks rolled in pistacchio nuts.....and side dishes of potatoes and a mixed salad. To finish off this wonderful meal, we had fresh icecream in a Croccante shell. What else can I say? Can 't wait to go again...next time we will book a week Full Board in the Hotel, so that we can try out all their dishes...one...by ...one. ...and the pizzas at night after spending the day sunbathing on the beach. The waiting staff is very helpful and suggests perfectly what is really, really good that day. Already thinking about our next visit.
Simple and well made food, served on a lovely terrace right on the beach just as good as when we were here in 2012, and helpful and friendly staff.
Menù misto di carne e pesce, con tavoli esterni vista mare. Tempo di attesa abbastanza lunghi. Piatti di pesce nella media, non uno spiccato sapore di fresco. Prezzi onesti.
Abbiamo cenato con la famiglia, i piatti abbondanti ed il pesce buono, consigliata la verticale di polpo e gli spaghetti allo scoglio.
