Bluestone Dining Room At Pipestem State Park

This restaurant is excellent for breakfast! Did not eat other meals there, but would imagine they are also excellent. The service was far above what you would expect somewhere. The waitresses were super sweet and helpful. The food delicious! Would highly recommend.

We started our dinner with two appetizers onion cheese with roasted baguette and roasted pimples with a chip-nick dimmer. Both were delicious. My husband ordered the Sirloin Steak with peppercorn sauce, I had the trout almondine and our daughter the Bluestone Burger. All were cooked to perfection and seasoned well. Once again, there were great improvements on the side dishes, especially vegetables. Roasted butternut quash with beet was served. It was heavenly. Great meals!

Our family had a wonderful dinner at the Bluestone Dining Room. For appetizers we tried the fried pickles and 5 onion dip with sliced baguette. Both were excellent. I ordered the sirloin steak with brandy peppercorn sauce, my wife had the trout almondine, and our daughter the Bluestone burger. All of our dinners were cooked to perfection including our sides. I've enjoyed the steak on 3 separate occasions and every time it has been well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Incredible view. Meals moderately priced and done well. Staff are prompt and polite. Decor a little dated and could use some refreshing. However, doesnt really detract from a pleasant experience.
