Bear Claw Bakery - Pinole

Delicious, historic, convenient! This place has been around since the turn of the last century. Yummy sandwiches, great coffee beverages, enticing baked goods, and panini! Comfortable, homey atmosphere with a photo op inside with a bear and a "road trip "set. Near Fernandez park so you can grab a beverage and some lunch or a treat and then walk over and enjoy the park andplayground.

First time at Bear Claw Bakery. Ordered a cup of coffee and a cinnamon swirl. ???? Unfortunatley, the coffee was terrible. I tossed it. The large, cinnamon swirl came with me and enjoyed it at PEET'S coffee. ????

I received excellent customer service at this restaurant on Tuesday morning at 8:45. The server kindly split the Bearclaw coffee for me. The prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely. I highly recommend a visit!

I have been a loyal customer of the Bear Claw in Pinole for years, mainly for their delicious pastries. However, when I was looking for a breakfast spot with outdoor seating yesterday and my usual choice was closed, I remembered that the Bear Claw had a couple of outdoor tables for two. So, my friend and I decided to try their breakfast menu. My friend ordered the Panda Breakfast Sandwich and enjoyed it. I tried the Breakfast Tots Breakfast Sandwich and it was amazing! The combination of eggs, tater tots, avocado slices, bacon, sourdough bread, and their special sauce was incredibly tasty. I highly recommend trying their breakfast offerings when you get the chance!

The bakery has a unique atmosphere with delicious food and friendly staff. It is a very popular place, so much so that we drove 20 miles just to eat there. We will definitely be making the trip again in the future. The bear claws are particularly amazing!
