Ruby Thai Kitchen - Pineville

We've been grabbing takeout or a quick mall meal here for about 2 years, and the family at the counter is always really great. We ended up ordering about 6 containers of food for my daughters birthday because she wanted a Japanese/Asian/Anime themed birthday and requested their mango chicken.Anytime we're in the area, we always try to stop by.Definitely get the Bangkok chicken, absolutely delicious.

I went out to eat with my friends at the Carolina Place Mall. All of my friends ate at a different restaurant except for one of our friends. She ate at the Thai food restaurant and after eating the chicken, she got a headache and started feeling hot. She then went to the bathroom and started throwing up. After that, she felt fine, but we started questioning if it was the chicken. We have heard of people feeling similar to this after eating Thai food. Not happy :

Great food for the price! Much better than average food court food I would say. I love their Bangkok chicken perfect balance between sweet and spicy and the chicken is so tender!
