Ooowee Bbq - Pineville

I tried this bbq at my jobs food truck event the other day. I was really looking forward but unfortunately I was disappointed i order the smoked pulled chicken plate with smoked mac&cheese and the smoked baked beans. None of the food on my plate was smoked. The mac&cheese was pretty good but drowning in oil. I used four napkins to soak up the excess oil and there was still a lot left. The baked beans were average. The pulled chicken was more like pulled boiled chicken, it had zero flavor and seasoning and I was given a sampler cup of bbq sauce that wasn’t even enough for the chicken. 30 minutes of waiting in the hot sun to pay $16 for this plate I was very disappointed.

Truck was out at the job today. I just got the Pork Sandwich and the Mac Cheese. Everything was very good and filling. Friendly service. Made some jokes and made some small talk. Always nice to see someone happy doing what they do!HAHAHA! Thanks for the response :

I had the BBQ Sundae years ago and I still dream about it.

Had George and the team bring the trailer to an office to do a lunch for a customer and was amazing. Bbq was amazing but by far the best cole slaw I’ve ever had! Rave reviews from everyone that got to eat!!!
