Bidra med feedbackWe had a wonderful experience at Wind River Brewing. We visited for lunch on a Saturday and tried a variety of dishes including brisket nachos, chipotle avocado burger, fish and chips, BLT, and crispy chicken sandwich. The food was delicious and lived up to its description. The service was quick, with our meals arriving within 15 minutes of ordering. We also enjoyed a beer flight with 4 great options. We would definitely return and highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area. They are pet-friendly and even offer a menu for dogs.
I really really want to like this place but I had the exact same experience literally 2 years apart. It has so much potential but the problem starts with service. I walked in and there were maybe 2-4 people at the bar yet there were like 5 employees hanging around at the end just chilling and talking. I think that they saw me walk in but did not acknowledge my presence as a human being. I get this a lot as a solo woman traveling since I am not a big group so no big tip. But I do tip really big for really good service.Anyway it took me a ridiculously long time to get looked at and to get a beer even with all employees hangin around. Now for the food, I got barbecue nachos but they came out all deconstructed like I had to pour the cheese on, put all the toppings on etc. the only thing on the nachos when I got them was a huge stringy mess of shredded beef. It must have been the last day for it, cuz it was really really tough, almost inedible and super sweet like they just poured a bunch of super fake sweet barbecue sauce on to try to mask the oldness. The whole point of nachos is to be all messy and wet and an amalgam of the flavors mixed together not for me to do all the work for them. It seemed like laziness on the kitchen’s part. The beer is hit or miss like the IPA is not great and I am an IPA fanatic. But the pale ale is pretty good but on my second visit, I made sure not to get food, I was scared because of my food allergies to try anything else. (Things taste fake.)Such a great location and not a lot of places to eat, would be cool in they really became a gastropub like most breweries on the east coast instead of just dialing it in.
Definitely recommend. Very friendly service personnel, good service, and a great atmosphere to enjoy. 10/10.
In general, we had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The only issue I had was that the patio was really busy and could have used another waiter or bus person to help out. The food was hot and delicious, especially the jalapeño burger with perfectly roasted jalapeños. The prices were reasonable for the location and time of year. They also offered a vegetarian burger for those with dietary restrictions, and the outdoor patio was kid-friendly. Additionally, gluten-free buns were available for those who needed them.
The wait for a table was definitely worth it. The food was delicious and expertly prepared. We began with a couple of beers and jalapeno poppers, and then enjoyed a Reuben and grilled chicken sandwich. The staff was friendly, fun, and very attentive. Overall, a great experience.
