Bidra med feedbackThe old mill was a great dining choice for our family. The wait was shorter than expected, food was abundant and southern, and service was wonderful. The dinners include amazing hush puppies, salads with delicious homemade dressing, and green beans and mash potatos for the table. Then there was dessert! So much food, but service was excellent- Autumn was so friendly and good at her job- even while training a new server. Shops around the mill are fun to shop at while you wait bc they call names through the intercom
I usually try to say something positive, I guess the only positive comment I can leave is that the waiters and waitresses are friendly. The food is just average considering the price. We have been there before and the experience was about the same. I just think this place is overrated, just my opinion.
From the start we felt rushed. Service was good but too rushed. Had barely opened the menu when he came to take order. Need a few more mins I said, and test 2 mins later back for the order. From my brief look at the menu everything is $25. Which is reasonable as that includes soup, salad, rolls, main meal and dessert. Soup salad and rolls all great, it was the dinners that were a let down. Again the food was coming fast and furious, soup salad literally 2 mins after order was made, main meal came 5 mins later as we were finishing up our salad. Very efficient but we felt rushed at all times. The main meals were overcooked and too salty. We had the fish and ham meals both very disappointing. Again as soon as we put down our forks the server was over to ask which dessert we wanted, and asking if we wanted it to go?? Again a very pushy, get out of here quick kind of attitude. Pecan pie was great by the way. Over all an OK meal reasonable price just way to fast for my liking.
Food was great and excellent value. Loved the complimentary fritters and soup they give you. Kids meals was also great portion wise and also came with a dessert. We went at 3pm and there was no wait. Staff were friendly. Highly recommend.
Always go here when in Pigeon Forge and usually the highlight of our trip. Don't know what has happened but it has gone down the tube. My husband and I spent $60 and what we recieved was for me was small bowl of chicken and dumplings which was warm not hot and dumplings extremely tough. Husband got 4 chicken fingers. To share was lukewarm bowl of mashed potatoes and green beans that tasted like straight out of can. Heartbreaking that this happened to them
