Cafe Turandot - PIETRASANTA

Situated in a lovely square not to far from the cathedral. We had two lovely coffees and an apple pie, Nice and clean and friendly staff.

The restaurant is located in the very centre of Lucca, in one of the most beautiful squares of the city, just in front of the church. Clean and well attended, this is a nice choice when travelling with family. On has both possibilities of eating indoors or outdoors. The owner really took care of us and the children lending us a drawing kit and some sheets of paper. Complete and appealing menu, good quality food and acceptable value for money. I would just say that the tables were too small, not giving the sensation of comfort and space. We had a really nice experience though!

Whilst this is a first rate bar with a massive chose of drinks we were drawn in by the décor, clean, smart and comfortable. We ourselves settled for coffee which was excellent and very reasonably priced, the bar staff were very attentive and on our third visit brought over a plate of complementary biscuits from their bar top selection of free nibbles. If you are out for a stroll at night this bar which also offers food is well worth a visit.

I often work in the area and as far as I am concerned it is the best place for a fast lunch. fast and courteous service, good food quality and good portions. the plate in photo is a composition that you choose between different ready dishes. dish water and coffee euro, great price. recommended.
