In Pietrasanta for a couple of days with friends we had dinner here in the evening and we liked it so much that we returned for lunch on the second day. With a cozy atmosphere like a real trattoria but also equipped with outdoor tables on the beautiful square, Il Gatto Nero offers a rather extensive menu that ranges from traditional Tuscan land dishes to seafood dishes. In the evening we had appetizers of croutons, soups and tomato soup (yummy! , and finished with tastings of excellent cakes. For lunch we chose fish dishes. We had lunch in this nice restaurant on a really beautiful square in Pietrasanta. It was born within the walls so it is a historic place. Friendly staff. Meat, fish and pasta dishes all good.
