Moxie's Grill and Bar - Pickering

Staff was very pleasant… Amazing service, but the food was not great.

We went for an early Valentine's dinner and was pleasantly surprised with the Valentine's special. Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The fries were nice and crispy just the way we like it. The trio dessert plate was a nice way to finish a great meal.

We went early on a weekday to take advantage of the Happy Hour menu (2 5pm and 9pm to close). Wine was fine and we shared some apps guacamole, parm fries and calamari. Everything was good including the service.

We always enjoy dining at this restaurant. It's especially nice for us because we have some family members who are vegan, so we appreciate having a menu that accommodates everyone's dietary preferences.

It's a bit pricey but the food is good. The music is WAY too loud; it's hard to have a conversation. That's the only thing that threw me off. Service was great, drinks are great there too!
