Jack Astor's Pickering

Very rushed through the meal and the waitress took forever to bring our drinks. Would not return to this restaurant again.

We went on a Thursday evening. It was not very busy but the service was just not at the regular level. It took just over 20 minutes to get a drink and our food took a while to come as well. We had chicken fingers so i know it shouldn’t take too long. We left after dinner because it took about 35 minutes total to get 2 orders of drinks. I would understand to an extent if it was really busy but it wasn’t. Very disappointed, won’t be back anytime soon, will probably go to the Whitby location.

We received excellent service; the only complaint is that portions were small while prices continue to go up, but overall a good experience.

First time being back to Jack's in awhile, used to be a regular. Service was slow which at first was understandable because we did go on a Friday however, waiting for drinks, waiting for refills, and then to wait for the bill at the end... not great. Server forgot a few times to bring us or have someone bring us our drinks, then got refills and we we all done our meal. Waited a looonnngg time to get our bills to the point I actually got up and went over to what we thought was the manager at the time, we then get our bills to only have the mills mised up for the 4 people (2 couples) to be messed up. I tell you 90 bucks for us and 100 for them why would be ever want to go back after that? How many places with for better food and service are available for that amount if not less, I missed Jack's I really did... but now I have no reason to go back... maybe in another 3 years time
