Crabby Joe's Tap & Grill - Pickering

Crabbys is a great place if you want to be able to chat while you have your lunch or dinner. The food is good, although I've found the pasta is overcooked. The service is always good and the waiters/waitresses always friendly. I highly recommend the sangria Rosso!

We visited crabby Joe's in Pickering in May 2016 and had coupons for their promotion for half price meals. The waitress was not happy that we had them. Her attitude was not good!!!!! and her poor negative and actually standoffish manner actually got worse through out our visit. She completely ignored us when we tried to get drink refills. When the food came the portion size was very small and the wait time was very long even though the restaurant was only half full. She banged the plates down it was mortifying. My mother was visiting from Scotland and was appalled at the service. As it was my daughters birthday they brought her a dessert with a sparkler on it. Our waitress did not sing actually turned away. We have it on video. She was so frustrated with us that she pushed the dessert towards my daughter and part of the sparkler broke off and landed on my daughters leg burning a hole in her dress and burning her leg. We called the waitress over and she said in a flat voice "oh really" we thought she would get the manager but she didn't. No forms were filled in and it was not reported to management. I called the next day and spoke to the owner explaining the disastrous night. She said I had to contact their insurance. After weeks of back and forth they offered us $300 for the dress, the meal and compensation which we refused. It was a horrible night and my daughters birthday was ruined!!!We told all our friends and all of us have boycotted crabby Joe's in Pickering. We would never go back there ever again!!!!Heads up: don't upset the waitresses and they did not follow the proper reporting procedure for accidents to patrons!!!!!Elaine sytnyk

We have been here quite a few times and the food is always good staff is friendly and there prices are very reasonable

We always go there to hang out; the food is pretty good and the staff are friendly. It feels like going to a friend's house.

We've been several times to this restaurant and have always left well satisfied. The food has always been good and we have always had decent wait staff. Food arrives tasty and hot, and the beer cold. There are several tv's around and it is a good place to have a good meal and watch a sports game.
