Blue Sky Supermarket - Pickering

Quick late evening grocery shop for ramen. Great selection of soups, noodles and ramen from mild to extra spicy. The mangosteen in the produce section was some of the best I've seen with all green stems. Store layout is great and everything is organized and easy to find.

I bought 10lb ground chicken in $40 from halal meat section.When i cooked a small portion of it i felt there were crushed bones in every bite that was so irritating and i had to discard it.After that i checked my whole lot of ground chicken and it wasn’t able to eat because of the same issue. Since then i am asking from their customer service to return my money . Initially they replied that they will look into this matter and asked my phone which i gave them, that was their last reply to my email since then they are not responding.Pathetic customer service.I am so disappointed from their behaviour.That was my last visit to their store before that i was a regular customer.Their unprofessional behaviour has made me to stop shopping at their store.I wouldn’t not recommend anyone to shop there.

Big market! we bought some chips and fruits! very clsan space

September 13, 2023 I went to pick up our soup and was disappointed to discover that they had increased their prices. It no longer seems worthwhile to make the trip to this location. Additionally, I picked up some mangoes, and they turned out to be quite expensive. In fact, one bag ended up costing $18. Thats what happens when your doing last minute late night shopping thats not planned. I think I'll take a break from shopping at this store for a while.Aug 10/23 I went back to get pumpkin for my sick dog at home. They opened the store 10 minutes late. All workers and customers waited outside. No apology when walking in. I was able to grab what I needed. Staff was very mellow, few workds spoken with no facial expressions, it seemed like everyone was still waking up.Aug 9/2023 I was impressed when I asked and an employee for Mangosteen. He left his station and walked to the front of the store to help me find it. They were out of stock, but I appreciate the effort and assistance. I did pick up my favorite soup and also learned that this location sells it in singles.

This is a big store with a variety of fruit but I find it super expensive. I hate that they would rather let the fruit and vegetables rot instead of marking them down. Be sure to keep in eye on the prices during check out as I had an experience where an item magically appeared during my checking out. When i questioned the cashier, she looked confused. I don't understand how an item that I didn't even have would just appear out of nowhere like that?? It's quite fishy to me.The cashier couldn't explain it and proceeded to scan everything again and found that the item was not there. Had I not been paying attention to the screen they would have gotten away with charging me $5.99 for an item I didn't have. Imagine if this mistake happened to every single customer every day. Be careful!
