Baan Bum &bistro - Phrae

I am happy to eat here again after finishing my 10 days solo motorcycle trip through North Thailand. I prefer this restaurant to Gin. It is also delicious, great Western and Thai menu options, excellent service, and unlike Gin, this restaurant has some excellent German beers, as well as a varied selection of wines. Particularly pleasing are the delicate steaks that are imported and not expensive. I wish we had this restaurant in Chiang Rai, where I live. Another reason to visit Nan again, and again...

Just enjoyed a early dinner at this new restaurant in Nan town. Great selection of beers, wine and cocktails. Some choice of nice western Thai food. Food wise a bit more quality desired. Friendly and professional staff. Will try in a few months again. But it shows the food scene is changing in Nan. Wishing the staff and management a successful business.

Beautiful building and design. Friendly owner. Delicious food with reasonable prices. A wine list for all tastes priced competitively A new gem in Nan.

Looks lovely externally, garden area and even restrooms look nice with touches that make it more refined. Inside is more of the same design, bar and seating area is nice with bespoke looking tables and chairs all themed. It has an area for live music im guessing in evenings, the beer and wine selection looks good although i just opted for a singh which was fairly priced. The food is matching the rest of the place, presented beautifully and also very tasty. I had garlic bread with cheese, pork chilli pasta and my fiancée had a noodle dish and sticky chilli ribs. It is open from 11:00 daily and worth a visit.
