Yogis Grill - Phoenix

Sushi was hands down, fresh and delicious. Fried rice was ok, nothing special, was missing taste. Overall clean simple place. We will be back for sushi!

In the category of asian themed fast food, Yogis Grill complies with the expectations. The menu has salads, stir fried noodles, tempura, sushi rolls, and udon noodles relatively basic options, but sufficiently diverse and good price vs. quality ratio. You can dine in or take the plate to go. The Crazy Tuna Roll came in a small plastic box and in a simple presentation. The chicken and beef teriyaki bowl was more generous and the larger plate could easily suffice for two. Friendly and efficient service.

Good food and portions were very ample. Clean restaurant.

I ordered the beef teriyaki bowl and my wife the butter garlic chicken noodles. The beef teriyaki bowl was edible but not great. The butter garlic noodles were very very garlicky. Overall I give it a solid.. meh. I’ll come try the sushi sometime but this is definitely a two strikes you’re out kind of place.
