Bidra med feedbackGreat coffee! great sandwiches! Would definitely recommend as a healthy light lunch! Staff seem like happy friendly people and is a lovely addition to the woden plaza
Soul Origin, in my opinion, is comparative to the annual iPhone upgrade it's better quality, looks a bit nicer and just feels that little bit slimmer when it's on your body. <br/ <br/ I thought I'd try out Soul Origin whilst at the Woden Centre and I was really surprised at how well made the food is. The flavours they manage to pack into it are rich and authentic, this surprises me as Soul Origin, by nature is still a food court meal, however, it definitely does not taste like it, the food is fresh, well priced and flavoursome! <br/ <br/ Great quick eat! Two thumbs up Soul Origin, you guys are upping the food court experience
New Majura store mixed up two customers orders. Didn't notice until I was back in the car. I had the small serving of the Chcken Schnitzel panini the lady before me ordered. Still hungry as a result
The outlet at Woden sells an extensive range of salads. However, the atmosphere of the place is not very good. There is a very small room that in COVID times is fully occupied very quickly. The two long benches opposite the Soul Origin counter are in the corridor to the toilets. If you buy here, my recommendation is to eat elsewhere. I noticed that, in the 30 minutes we were eating there, the staff did not clear the table where we sat but concentrated on selling more salads. The manager of the place just stood around talking to friends or using his mobile. He did not involve himself at all.
Don't get me wrong. I like Soul Origin and regularly buy from their Gungahlin store. However my experience at their Woden store was cause for concern. Yesterday my wife and I purchased a large salad at Soul Origin, Woden to share. What we found in our serve of salad was disconcerting. Not only did we find a strand of hair about 9cm long, but even worse was that we found what looks like a 35+cm length of shredded green material, similar to the material found in shopping bags at Coles. I have retained this material and taken a photograph of it and have provided this to Soul Origin head office in Australia. When purchasing food from any outlet I expect that the highest standards of hygiene be maintained. Finding both hair and material in just one serve of salad is not ideal. I will say though that after bringing this to the attention of Soul Origin head office their response has been great so far. I have had a prompt reply to my email and also a phone call from one of their staff members, and it seems they are taking this contamination very seriously. Will our experience put me off Soul Origin? No. In fact I purchased another salad and foccacia from their Gungahlin store just this afternoon. But will I return to Soul Origin in Woden? Possibly not.
