Zavino University City - Philadelphia

On campus restaurants are notoriously lousy. Zavino is on campus but is exceptional both in service and food quality. It is definitely a bit pricey outside of happy hour but every time I've been there, I've had outstanding service.

It was a lovely family lunch. We sat out doors on the patio which is well shaded, and shared salad and pizzas with a group of six.

The food was good, nothing crazy. For the price (not that it was expensive) I wouldn't really recommend it. But the ambiance was great and so was the location. The interior is beautiful and on a nice day, it's very comfortable to sit outside.

The food is always good here! The pizzas are so yummy! Nice casual and family oriented upscale bistro!
