Def new go to for soul food. Everything was fresh!!! Ordered whiting platter with Collard Greens, Yams a Extra Side of Mac Cheese. Greens Fresh, Yams Fresh, Fish Fresh (ask to fry hard), Mac Cheese on Point not basic, def baked Multiple Cheese.

A friend recommended to try her to eat and I was not disappointed at all! it was a little waiting for the order, but the quality of everything made that wait good worth. the seafood salad was tasteful and had crabs and garnel, the lammings were perfectly spiced and so tender! I had a side baked mac and spatula and wanted more than it was gone. I also had a sweet potato cheesecake and it was perfect! I sometimes know soul food in philly can hit or miss, but try it! they will not regret it at all! she remembers her customers with names, they can feel their passion when they cook and their mood made the experience great. It was an all around no for me. The Mac and cheese was horrible. No taste and idk what cheese they’re using but they need to change it. The yams look like they were canned and the jerk chicken wings I had could’ve been cooked for longer. My kid got the fried chicken wings and fries and they had wayyyyyyyy too much black pepper. The plates didn’t look appetizing at all. Save ur money
