Monde Market - Philadelphia

The hands down one of the best delis. Great Sandwiches, Great Staff, Great Beer, Great Special items that you usually find in other shops. Space is just great. Update oct 2022, one of the best markets around. If you live close, stop. Not only a great deli, but also a great beer selection.

A quick place to buy beer, medium price beer options because the US alcohol tax is prohibitionist, but there is a deli that I like to try out for a convenient food combination at some point!

I love this place. I am a vegetarian and alot of places don't consider that us vegetarian eat more than lettuce.At Monde it take out with deli sandwiches a corner store feel and if you want a beer with your sandwiches they have a large selection with cool names.You order on one of those tablets and then pay and wait for your over flowing sandwiches. I get a plant based turkey hoagie with hot pepper seeds and I swear I'm eating a Italian hoagie.THEIR sandwich is so good I can't stop eating them. ?

I've lived across the street from this place for 3 years and for 3 years I've been blessed with amazing service, great hoagies, and convenient access to a wide selection of beers and other crafts. However, it's the staff here that makes this place stand apart from the rest. They're very kind, easy to talk to, and good natured people. Every time I walked into their store, I was met with a smile and a greeting. While I'm excited to move to my new neighborhood, I'm going to miss having Monde Market in my life!
