Bidra med feedbackEveryone was very pleasant and accommodating. our server was excellent and checked how we liked our drinks and food. I give her definitiw 5 stars. a critique would be that the spicy dishes are presented as such. far too many hot paprika in calamari- we could not even eat the calamari at the bottom of the plate when they were infused with the paprika. also the flat iron steak had a peperonata on it - and that was so spicy I couldn't eat it. our server has replaced it with a new steak, but perhaps the list should be a spicy peperonate. at least the next time we know what to ask and there will be a final one next time.
Pat and I went to macaroni’s restaurant tonight and they surpassed our expected nights. the appetizers (pots in a garlic white wine) the main course(s truffle whistles contain the dessert (coffee wine and cheesecake this was the best night we had in a long time and 80% of the convot was how big it was eating. 10/10 do not recommend pictures. just a good old fashion memory. Ask for vincenzo, he was such a great waiter, I told him I was a small crawl and he said here, I want you to eat and enjoy yourself.
We had a 630 pm reservation, ordered our dinner 15 minutes later and had to wait 40 minutes to be served our meal.
The outdoor patio area is beautiful! The margarita pizza was a 10/10. The brick oven char and the chewy dough made the pizza great. The rigatoni vodka was super saucey and very tasty. The eggplant tower had fried eggplant, mozzarella, and tomato with a balsamic glaze and arugula. It could’ve used a bit of salt but other than that it was great. I enjoyed the fried eggplant part a lot. The tiramisu was also great.
Always a great meal here. Clyde is the best waiter, we try to get him when we are there. Honestly all the wait staff is excellent though. We sat outside this time. They really have made it a beautiful escape back there.
