LaScala's Birra - Philadelphia

On a late Saturday evening, we enjoyed a dinner at the restaurant consisting of an eggplant appetizer and two pizzas for a party of four. The eggplant was delicious, and the pizzas were fantastic with a flavorful sauce and crispy crust that was not burnt. For dessert, we indulged in cannolis, and the wait staff kindly brought out a cannoli with a candle for a birthday celebration. We had a great experience and look forward to returning to try their entrees.

Last week, we had a fantastic dinner at LaScala Birra! The service was excellent and we loved sitting upstairs away from the noise. We will definitely be returning when we are in the area.

I have always been a loyal customer of this restaurant and it is my go-to choice. However, during my recent visit, my order was mixed up and the service was abnormally slow. The server was friendly, but due to the error in my order and the extended wait for a replacement, my dining experience was not enjoyable.

This was our first visit to the restaurant and we will definitely be returning. The food and service were both excellent!

Great place to join friends to catch up with excellent pizza, wine, and beer. Can’t recommend the bread pudding enough! Easily the best dessert on the Ave.
