Chubby Cattle - Philadelphia

First time here at Chubby Cattle. Couldn’t have asked for a better first experience. An provided amazing service from the start. She made us feel comfortable and understand the entire Hot Pot experience and explained the cool conveyor belt. We will definitely be coming back!!

Great hot pot experience! I got the medium hot base soup. It was firey hot but also had a great depth of flavor. I also had the wagyu beef it was super tender. There was a good amount of beef for what you paid for. So if you like Chinese food and you want a new experience you should give this place a try.

This place was so good! The food was so tasty. It was my first time eating A5 Wagyu beef like this. The tonkutso broth was very rich. I suggest making good use of the spice cart. Ended up getting some noodles for the broth. Don't skip on the soup dumplings! They soaked up the super tasty broth and ended up growing 1.5 in size. It was a bit expensive, but it was a good spot for a special occasion. Loved our experience. Our order seemed smaller than the people going ape and ordering so much they needed a side table to fit all the food they just ordered.

We came here on a Saturday night. We joined the Yelp waiting list around 6 and weren’t seated until around 8. The app said that there was 20 people in front of us, so we were prepared for the wait. Unless you’re really craving hotpot, I don’t think this place is worth a 30 minute long wait or more. We were expecting to get to experience the conveyor belt, but we were sat upstairs. The hotpot was decent, but not any better than any place I’ve been to before. The wagyu beef was really good. The hotpot sauces were in a basket that were passed around from table to table. I would prefer for there to be a self-service buffet stand so you could get more sauce whenever you wanted. Overall, the hotpot was good and I’d come back (if there was no wait)!

First time, absolutely delicious. Portions are more than enough and very filling. Calm chill atmosphere and music was on point. Worth every penny. Affordable and good quality food. I will be back.
