Chester's Barbecue - Phenix City

Picked up two slabs of ribs for Thanksgiving to add with my ham. Friendly staff!

I have been eating Chester's ribs for years,they are always perfectly cooked and taste great, all the sides are excellent, I have NEVER had a bad experience eating here, I'LL BE BACK

I gave it a 4 only because I'm from Davidson County, North Carolina. This would be the home of Lexington style BBQ, which in my opinion is the best. This BBQ is mustard based. It was prepared well but it can't compare to my hometown BBQ. There are a variety of side dishes to choose from.

Local Columbus GA and Phenix City AL, family owned restaurants. I visited the AL restaurant because it is closer to the area. I bought the smoked rib shell. Meat fell from the bone. Mac and cheese and potato salad added, and it was very delicious. This meal definitely hits the point and brings me to sleep within an hour after eating. If you are in this area and want a great home cooked food, visit either spots (one in Columbus GA and one in Phenix City AL). I would recommend it.
